The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्थिते मनसि निष्कामे समे विगतरञ्जने ।
कायावयवजौ कार्यौ स्पन्दास्पन्दौ फले समौ ॥ २८ ॥

sthite manasi niṣkāme same vigatarañjane |
kāyāvayavajau kāryau spandāspandau phale samau || 28 ||

The mind being set at ease by want of its action or passion, the actions of the body and its members, are alike in their effects to those of not doing them.
