The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रतीहारपतावित्थमुक्तवत्यथ पार्थिवः ।
तथैव चिन्तयामास चित्रां संसारसंस्थितिम् ॥ १० ॥

pratīhārapatāvitthamuktavatyatha pārthivaḥ |
tathaiva cintayāmāsa citrāṃ saṃsārasaṃsthitim || 10 ||

Though thus besought by the head chamberlain, yet the king remained in his meditative mood, thinking on the wonderful phenomena of nature.
