The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.9.13

प्रत्यब्दं प्रतिमासं च प्रत्यहं च प्रतिक्षणम् ।
सुखानि दुःखपिण्डानि दुःखानि तु पुनः पुनः ॥ १३ ॥

pratyabdaṃ pratimāsaṃ ca pratyahaṃ ca pratikṣaṇam |
sukhāni duḥkhapiṇḍāni duḥkhāni tu punaḥ punaḥ || 13 ||

The years, months, days and minutes, are revolving with succession of our pains and pleasures; but these are swallowed up, by the repeated trains of our misery.
