The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यद्वस्तु यच्च वा रम्यं यदुदारमकृत्रिमम् ।
किंचित्तदिह नास्त्येव किंनिष्ठेह मतिर्मम ॥ १० ॥

yadvastu yacca vā ramyaṃ yadudāramakṛtrimam |
kiṃcittadiha nāstyeva kiṃniṣṭheha matirmama || 10 ||

What faith can I rely in this world which has nothing substantial nor pleasant, nor grand nor real in it; and yet I know not why my mind is deluded by it.
