The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.5.21

अक्षयोऽयं मनागात्मा स्वात्मन्यवगते चिरम् ।
भवतीति नरस्येह मोहस्यावसरः कुतः ॥ २१ ॥

akṣayo'yaṃ manāgātmā svātmanyavagate ciram |
bhavatīti narasyeha mohasyāvasaraḥ kutaḥ || 21 ||

The divine Spirit is imperishable after it is once known to the human soul; and there can be no access of error into it, as long as it is enlightened by the light of the holy spirit.
