The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हा तात मातः पुत्रेति गिरामासामहं पुनः ।
भाजनं चित्त माभूवं भोजनं दुःखभोगिनाम् ॥ ३५ ॥

hā tāta mātaḥ putreti girāmāsāmahaṃ punaḥ |
bhājanaṃ citta mābhūvaṃ bhojanaṃ duḥkhabhoginām || 35 ||

But my restless mind has made me a prey to the dragon of despair, and I cry out in my sorrow, O my father and mother! help me to get out of this difficulty.
