The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.1.17

मुहूर्तमात्रं विश्रम्य श्रुत्वा मध्याह्ननिःस्वनम् ।
घने कोलाहले शान्ते रामं मुनिरुवाच ह ॥ १७ ॥

muhūrtamātraṃ viśramya śrutvā madhyāhnaniḥsvanam |
ghane kolāhale śānte rāmaṃ muniruvāca ha || 17 ||

Hearing the midday shout, the sage stopped for a moment, and then addressed to Rama! after the hubbub was over and said:—
