उदभूत्पूरयन्नाशाः कल्पाभ्ररवमांसलः ।
अथ मध्याह्नशंखानामब्धिघोषसमः स्वनः ॥ १४ ॥

udabhūtpūrayannāśāḥ kalpābhraravamāṃsalaḥ |
atha madhyāhnaśaṃkhānāmabdhighoṣasamaḥ svanaḥ || 14 ||

At this instant there rose the loud peal of conch shells, resembling the full swell of the sounding main, and the deep and deafening roar of summer clouds, filling the vault of the sky, and announcing the time of midday service.
