The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.59.51

चित्सर्गोपरमाकाशे ब्रह्मणो यन्मनःफलम् ।
उदेति प्रथमः सैव ब्रह्मत्वं समवाश्नुते ॥ ५१ ॥

citsargoparamākāśe brahmaṇo yanmanaḥphalam |
udeti prathamaḥ saiva brahmatvaṃ samavāśnute || 51 ||

The intellectual creation is what rises of itself in the Spirit of Brahma, and the mental is the result of his mind and will. The first is the direct inspiration of Brahma into the Spirit of Brahma.
