The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

न केचन जगद्भावास्तत्त्वज्ञं रजयन्त्यमी ।
प्राक्तनप्रतिबिम्बश्री रत्नं कुम्भगतं यथा ॥ ५७ ॥

na kecana jagadbhāvāstattvajñaṃ rajayantyamī |
prāktanapratibimbaśrī ratnaṃ kumbhagataṃ yathā || 57 ||

No earthly delight can have its seat in the heart of the wise, as the sun-light is never reflected in a gem hidden under a bushel.
