The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.57.55

न केचन जगद्भावास्तत्त्वज्ञं रञ्जयन्त्यमी ।
अप्यभ्यासगताः स्फारहृदयं खमिवाम्बुदाः ॥ ५५ ॥

na kecana jagadbhāvāstattvajñaṃ rañjayantyamī |
apyabhyāsagatāḥ sphārahṛdayaṃ khamivāmbudāḥ || 55 ||

No worldly good can allure the heart of the wise, who have tested the vanity of temporal things; and no earthly evil can obscure their souls, which are as bright as the clear sky which no cloud can darken.
