The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तस्मिन्किल पदे राम ज्ञस्तिष्ठति महोत्तमे ।
यस्मिंश्चन्द्रार्कदेशोऽपि न पातालमिव स्थितः ॥ ५३ ॥

tasminkila pade rāma jñastiṣṭhati mahottame |
yasmiṃścandrārkadeśo'pi na pātālamiva sthitaḥ || 53 ||

The truly great and wise man, rests in that highest state of eminence; where the stations of the sun and moon, are seen as the nether regions.
