The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नेदमस्ति जगद्राम तव नास्ति महामते ।
केवलं स्वच्छमेवेत्थमाततं मितमीदृशम् ॥ ४ ॥

nedamasti jagadrāma tava nāsti mahāmate |
kevalaṃ svacchamevetthamātataṃ mitamīdṛśam || 4 ||

The world is no substantial existence, nor are you a being of its unsubstantiality; it is only a clear reflection of the divine mind, and extending over all infinity.
