The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.55.8

सेव्यमानं वनमिव लतामण्डलमण्डितम् ।
स्मितेन विस्फुटमिव श्वसनस्फुरितच्छदम् ॥ ८ ॥

sevyamānaṃ vanamiva latāmaṇḍalamaṇḍitam |
smitena visphuṭamiva śvasanasphuritacchadam || 8 ||

It was as delightful as a bower overhung with creepers, where the smiling flowers were shedding their light, and breathing their fragrance to the winds.
