The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उपशान्ते हि संकल्पे उपशान्तमिदं भवेत् ।
संसारदुःखमखिलं मूलादपि महामते ॥ १९ ॥

upaśānte hi saṃkalpe upaśāntamidaṃ bhavet |
saṃsāraduḥkhamakhilaṃ mūlādapi mahāmate || 19 ||

Our desires being quieted, all worldly cares come to a stand still, and all our troubles are put to a dead lock.
