The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

संकल्पेनैव संकल्पं मनसा स्वमनो मुने ।
छित्त्वा स्वात्मनि तिष्ठ त्वं किमेतावति दुष्करम् ॥ १८ ॥

saṃkalpenaiva saṃkalpaṃ manasā svamano mune |
chittvā svātmani tiṣṭha tvaṃ kimetāvati duṣkaram || 18 ||

Kill your desire by desiring nothing, and turn your mind from all things, by fixing it in the Supreme, which you can easily do of yourself.
