The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.53.30

संकल्पितानन्दलवस्तिष्ठत्युद्धरकन्धरम् ।
अकस्मात्प्रच्युतमधुबिन्दुभुक्करभो यथा ॥ ३० ॥

saṃkalpitānandalavastiṣṭhatyuddharakandharam |
akasmātpracyutamadhubindubhukkarabho yathā || 30 ||

The mind remains in eager expectation of the enjoyment of its desired objects, as the stag stood with its lifted mouth, to have a drop of honey fall into it, from a honey-comb hanging on high.
