The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तस्यां गतायां स पितुरन्तेवासितया तया ।
अतिष्ठत्संयतो धीमानर्कस्येवारुणः पुरः ॥ ३० ॥

tasyāṃ gatāyāṃ sa piturantevāsitayā tayā |
atiṣṭhatsaṃyato dhīmānarkasyevāruṇaḥ puraḥ || 30 ||

She being gone, the boy remained submissive to his father, and dwelt by his side as his pupil, like Aruna (Ouranus) waiting upon the sun.
