The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.51.29

एवं वदन्तीं स मुनिः सच्छिष्यमबले सुतम् ।
इहैव स्थापयैनं त्वमित्युक्त्वा तां व्यसर्जयत् ॥ २९ ॥

evaṃ vadantīṃ sa muniḥ sacchiṣyamabale sutam |
ihaiva sthāpayainaṃ tvamityuktvā tāṃ vyasarjayat || 29 ||

Being thus besought by her, he bespoke to the tender mother, to leave the child there and depart her own way.
