The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.51.2

तस्मिँल्लतादले स्थित्वा विलोक्य ककुभः क्षणात् ।
दृढपद्मासनं बद्ध्वा दिग्भ्यः प्रत्याहृतात्मना ॥ २ ॥

tasmiṃllatādale sthitvā vilokya kakubhaḥ kṣaṇāt |
dṛḍhapadmāsanaṃ baddhvā digbhyaḥ pratyāhṛtātmanā || 2 ||

There sitting on the leaves of the creepers growing on the branch of that tree, he looked up to heaven, and then placing himself in the posture of padmasana, he called back his mind to himself.
