The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.50.1

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
तमथासौ तथा बुद्धिफलपल्लवशालिनम् ।
आनन्दमन्थरमनाः षुष्परूपाचलोपमम् ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
tamathāsau tathā buddhiphalapallavaśālinam |
ānandamantharamanāḥ ṣuṣparūpācalopamam || 1 ||

Vasishtha continued:—Dasura remained in this flowery arbour, as if he dwelt on a hill of flowers; and he felt in his mind the delight, which the flowery spring and its fruitage could infuse in the heart.
