The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

रजसोद्भूलिताकारं द्वितीयमिव शंकरम् ।
छायया फलशालिन्या समस्तजनशंकरम् ॥ ३३ ॥
rajasodbhūlitākāraṃ dvitīyamiva śaṃkaram |
chāyayā phalaśālinyā samastajanaśaṃkaram || 33 ||
Besmeared with the pollen of its flowers, it appeared as the god Siva anointed with his powdered ashes; while its shady bowers overhung with luscious fruits, refreshed the passing travellers with rest and repast.
