The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

संकटं विटपावल्या कुञ्जकूजच्चकोरया ।
छन्नया सिद्धवीथ्येव जगदुच्चतया श्रितम् ॥ ६ ॥

saṃkaṭaṃ viṭapāvalyā kuñjakūjaccakorayā |
channayā siddhavīthyeva jagaduccatayā śritam || 6 ||

The earth with its thickening thickets, and the warbling chakoras as amongst them, appeared as the milky path of heaven studded with stars singing their heavenly strains.
