The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कच्छैरुरुगुड्डच्छाच्छमञ्जरीपुञ्जकञ्जरैः ।
आस्यैरिव सताम्बूलैर्हसन्तं वनमालिकाः ॥ ४ ॥

kacchairuruguḍḍacchācchamañjarīpuñjakañjaraiḥ |
āsyairiva satāmbūlairhasantaṃ vanamālikāḥ || 4 ||

The banks with their long shrubbery, and the crimson filaments of their milk-white blossoms, were smiling like the fair faces of beauties, with their teeth tinged with reddish hue of betel leaves.
