The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इति संचिन्त्य भगवान्सप्तार्चिस्तस्य देवता ।
पुरो बभूव दीप्तांशुर्दीप्तांशुर्वाक्पतेरिव ॥ ३७ ॥

iti saṃcintya bhagavānsaptārcistasya devatā |
puro babhūva dīptāṃśurdīptāṃśurvākpateriva || 37 ||

Thinking so, the god of fire appeared before him in his full blaze, as the luminous sun appeared before the lord of speech—Brihaspati or Jupiter.
