The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ज्ञदृष्ट्या सर्वमेवेदं ब्रह्मैवेति महामते ।
नास्ति संसार इत्येतदुपपद्यत एव च ॥ ६३ ॥

jñadṛṣṭyā sarvamevedaṃ brahmaiveti mahāmate |
nāsti saṃsāra ityetadupapadyata eva ca || 63 ||

All this is Brahma to the intelligent, and there is no such thing as the world, which is a mere theory (upapadya) of the unintelligent.
