The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तरङ्गसमधर्मिण्यो दृष्टनष्टशरीरकाः ।
सर्वासां सृष्टिराशीनां चित्राकारविचेष्टिताः ॥ २७ ॥

taraṅgasamadharmiṇyo dṛṣṭanaṣṭaśarīrakāḥ |
sarvāsāṃ sṛṣṭirāśīnāṃ citrākāraviceṣṭitāḥ || 27 ||

All things are of the manner of sea waves, which vanish no sooner than they appear to view, and they are all of the nature of paintings, which are impressed in the mind.
