The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.44.29

मनोरथवशोपात्तवपुस्तिष्ठत्यसावथ ।
एवं स्ववासनावेशात्कलिताङ्गो मनोमुनिः ॥ २९ ॥

manorathavaśopāttavapustiṣṭhatyasāvatha |
evaṃ svavāsanāveśātkalitāṅgo manomuniḥ || 29 ||

In this manner did Brahma, who is called a muni or mental being, from his having sprung from the mind of Brahma, produced the several parts of his body, according to his thoughts of their usefulness to it.
