The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.44.17

आकाशभावनामच्छां शब्दबीजरसोन्मुखीम् ।
ततस्तां घनतां यातं घनस्पन्दक्रमान्मनः ॥ १७ ॥

ākāśabhāvanāmacchāṃ śabdabījarasonmukhīm |
tatastāṃ ghanatāṃ yātaṃ ghanaspandakramānmanaḥ || 17 ||

When this limited power which is Brahma, thinks on the state of his having been the Hiranyagarbha, in his former state of existence in the prior Kalpa; he is immediately transformed to that state which is in his mind, and which is ever busy with its thoughts and imaginations.
