The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.44.14

निदर्शनेन तेनैव जागतीं ज्ञास्यसि स्थितिम् ।
दिक्कालाद्यनवच्छिन्नमात्मतत्त्वं स्वशक्तितः ॥ १४ ॥

nidarśanena tenaiva jāgatīṃ jñāsyasi sthitim |
dikkālādyanavacchinnamātmatattvaṃ svaśaktitaḥ || 14 ||

Vasishtha answered said:—Hear me tell you, O long-armed Rama, the manner of Brahma's having the body; and from his instance, you will learn about the existence of the world.
