The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

केचिन्महाधियः सन्त उत्पद्य ब्रह्मणः पदात् ।
तदैव जन्मनैकेन तत्रैवाशु विशन्त्यलम् ॥ ३२ ॥

kecinmahādhiyaḥ santa utpadya brahmaṇaḥ padāt |
tadaiva janmanaikena tatraivāśu viśantyalam || 32 ||

There are some great minded souls, who having proceeded from the state of Brahma, have to pass here a single life, after which they are absorbed in the Supreme soul.
