The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यथोल्लसति भाश्चक्रैः कचन्कनकसागरः ।
तथात्मनि परिस्पन्दैः स्फुरत्यक्षैश्चिदर्णवः ॥ ९ ॥

yathollasati bhāścakraiḥ kacankanakasāgaraḥ |
tathātmani parispandaiḥ sphuratyakṣaiścidarṇavaḥ || 9 ||

As the sea sparkles with the golden beams of the starry frame; so the translucent vast soul of God, shines with the light of its own intellectual sphere.
