The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जगत्पश्यत्यसक्तात्मा न स दुःखे निमज्जति ।
यस्यैतास्वस्वरूपासु भावना स्वात्मभावना ॥ २५ ॥

jagatpaśyatyasaktātmā na sa duḥkhe nimajjati |
yasyaitāsvasvarūpāsu bhāvanā svātmabhāvanā || 25 ||

He who looks upon the world without his attachment to it, is never subject to grief or sorrow on any account. And he who thinks all these forms as formless, sees the formless spirit.
