The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.36.31

चतुर्दशविधानीह भूतानि भुवनान्तरे ।
नानाचारविहाराणि नानाविरचनानि च ॥ ३१ ॥

caturdaśavidhānīha bhūtāni bhuvanāntare |
nānācāravihārāṇi nānāviracanāni ca || 31 ||

It made the universe teem with fourteen kinds of beings in its as many worlds of the chaturdasa-bhuvanas; and these are as different in their modes of life as in their forms and figures.
