The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दृश्यदृष्टिः स्फुटा येयं सा ह्यवश्यमसन्मयी ।
तन्मयत्वं च मनसः स्वरूपं विद्धि नेतरत् ॥ ४७ ॥

dṛśyadṛṣṭiḥ sphuṭā yeyaṃ sā hyavaśyamasanmayī |
tanmayatvaṃ ca manasaḥ svarūpaṃ viddhi netarat || 47 ||

The visible sights which are obvious to view, are all but unreal phantoms; it is the absorption of the mind in the Divine, that makes it identical with the same and no other.
