The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.35.46

सबाह्याभ्यन्तरं त्यक्त्वा सर्वां दृश्यदृशं यदा ।
मनस्तिष्ठति तल्लीनं संप्राप्तं तत्पदं तदा ॥ ४६ ॥

sabāhyābhyantaraṃ tyaktvā sarvāṃ dṛśyadṛśaṃ yadā |
manastiṣṭhati tallīnaṃ saṃprāptaṃ tatpadaṃ tadā || 46 ||

When the mind is fixed upon God, by abstracting its sight from all mental and ocular visions, it has then the view of the Supreme before it.
