The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

गन्धर्वनगराकारा मृगतृष्णा इवोत्थिता ।
द्विचन्द्रविभ्रमाभासा द्वैतैकत्वविवर्जिता ॥ ३६ ॥

gandharvanagarākārā mṛgatṛṣṇā ivotthitā |
dvicandravibhramābhāsā dvaitaikatvavivarjitā || 36 ||

The world is a magical city, and as a mirage appearing to sight;it is of the nature of the delusive panorama, showing many moons of the one, whose unity admits of no duality. So the one Brahma is represented as many by delusion.
