The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शुभवासनया चेतो महत्या जायते महत् ।
भवतीन्द्रमनोराज्य इन्द्रता स्वप्नभाङ्गरः ॥ ३० ॥

śubhavāsanayā ceto mahatyā jāyate mahat |
bhavatīndramanorājya indratā svapnabhāṅgaraḥ || 30 ||

Aiming after goodness and greatness, makes a man good and great; as one wishing to be an Indra or a lord, dreams of his lordliness in his sleep.
