The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वविकल्पान्नरस्तत्र प्रसार्य रचयत्यलम् ।
जालमात्मनिबन्धाय कोशकारकृमिर्यथा ॥ २६ ॥

svavikalpānnarastatra prasārya racayatyalam |
jālamātmanibandhāya kośakārakṛmiryathā || 26 ||

Man stretches his own sphere of action by his own option only to entrap himself in it, as the silkworm weaves its cocoon for its own imprisonment.
