The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

असक्तबुद्धिभिर्नित्यं हतान्यैरप्यहन्तृभिः ।
वासनाजालनिर्मुक्तैः कृतकार्यैरकर्तृभिः ॥ १६ ॥

asaktabuddhibhirnityaṃ hatānyairapyahantṛbhiḥ |
vāsanājālanirmuktaiḥ kṛtakāryairakartṛbhiḥ || 16 ||

Their minds were attached to nothing, they slew their enemies without thinking themselves as their slayers; they did their duties and thought themselves as no doers of them; and they were utterly free from all their desires.
