The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भावादहंकृतिं त्यक्त्वा स्थूलामेतां हि लौकिकीम् ।
तिष्ठन्व्यवहरन्वापि न नरः प्रपतत्यधः ॥ ६७ ॥

bhāvādahaṃkṛtiṃ tyaktvā sthūlāmetāṃ hi laukikīm |
tiṣṭhanvyavaharanvāpi na naraḥ prapatatyadhaḥ || 67 ||

The man that forsakes the feeling of his egoism (or personality) from his mind, is not debased nor goes to perdition by either his indifference to or management of worldly affairs.
