आक्रम्य चेतनां नित्यमहंकाराम्बुदे स्थिते ।
जाड्यमेव स्थितिं याति न प्रकाशः कदाचन ॥ ३१ ॥

ākramya cetanāṃ nityamahaṃkārāmbude sthite |
jāḍyameva sthitiṃ yāti na prakāśaḥ kadācana || 31 ||

As long as the cloud of egotism continue to overcast the mind and obscure its intelligence, the humidity of dullness will fill its sphere, and prevent the light of intellect to pierce through it.
