The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

बाध्यते चामलधियामपिशाचे पिशाचधीः ।
शिशूनां तावदाध्वान्तःकरणानां विचारणा ॥ २७ ॥

bādhyate cāmaladhiyāmapiśāce piśācadhīḥ |
śiśūnāṃ tāvadādhvāntaḥkaraṇānāṃ vicāraṇā || 27 ||

Even clear understandings are sometimes clouded by false apparitions, as those of ogres &c.; when there are no such things, just as children are seized with false fear of goblins.
