The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथात्मविदुषां सङ्गात्तस्य साधोः प्रवर्तते ।
अत्यन्ताभाव एवास्य यथा दृश्यस्य दृश्यते ॥ १६ ॥

athātmaviduṣāṃ saṅgāttasya sādhoḥ pravartate |
atyantābhāva evāsya yathā dṛśyasya dṛśyate || 16 ||

The society of spiritual guides, serves to dispel the visibles from the sight of the devout, as the invisibles are hidden from sight.
