The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.32.31

क्व वा श्रृङ्गे नृसिंहस्य गृहे क्रकरपोतता ।
चिदाकाशोऽहमित्येव रजसा रञ्जितप्रभः ॥ ३१ ॥

kva vā śrṛṅge nṛsiṃhasya gṛhe krakarapotatā |
cidākāśo'hamityeva rajasā rañjitaprabhaḥ || 31 ||

When the sphere of the pure intellect, is tinged with the hue of egotism, it is debased to another form without changing its nature.
