The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चलत्कुसुमदोलासु नीलोत्पललतासु च ।
सीकरौघाभ्रलेखासु शीतलावर्तवर्तिषु ॥ ८ ॥

calatkusumadolāsu nīlotpalalatāsu ca |
sīkaraughābhralekhāsu śītalāvartavartiṣu || 8 ||

They swung in cradles of flowers, and rested on beds of blue lotuses; and dived in vortices of the waters, or flew under the cooling showers of rainy clouds.
