The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

परमार्थो जगदिति रूपं वेत्ति स्वयं स्वकम् ।
यथा तैमिरिकं चक्षुः केशोण्ड्रकमिवेक्षते ॥ ४५ ॥

paramārtho jagaditi rūpaṃ vetti svayaṃ svakam |
yathā taimirikaṃ cakṣuḥ keśoṇḍrakamivekṣate || 45 ||

The Divine Intellect views its own form in the world, and the world in itself in its true sense; as the blinded eye sees the internal light in its orbit.
