The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वस्वप्नप्रतिभासस्य जगदित्यभिधा कृता ।
चिद्व्योम्नो व्योमवपुषस्तापस्येव मृगाम्बुता ॥ ४१ ॥

svasvapnapratibhāsasya jagadityabhidhā kṛtā |
cidvyomno vyomavapuṣastāpasyeva mṛgāmbutā || 41 ||

What we call the world, is the representation of things to us as in our dream; it is a hollow body as a bubble rising in the empty ocean of the Intellect, and appearing as the water in the mirage.
