The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.31.40

अस्मदादिस्वरूपेण संविद्यत्रोदिता स्वयम् ।
तथासौ तत्र संपन्ना तथाकारानुभूतितः ॥ ४० ॥

asmadādisvarūpeṇa saṃvidyatroditā svayam |
tathāsau tatra saṃpannā tathākārānubhūtitaḥ || 40 ||

So it is with every one of us, that all things are produced to our view, according to their notions which are presented to our consciousness.
