The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

काश्मीरेषु महारण्यसरसीवनपल्वले ।
अद्य मत्स्याः स्थिता राम शैवाललवलालसाः ॥ १० ॥

kāśmīreṣu mahāraṇyasarasīvanapalvale |
adya matsyāḥ sthitā rāma śaivālalavalālasāḥ || 10 ||

They are now living as fishes in the muddy pool of a lake, among the forest lands of Kashmir, where they are content at present with feeding with zest upon the moss and weeds growing in it.
